Dear Parents and Friends:
I hope you are enjoying this wonderful summer. The school year is soon approaching and we would like to welcome you back to HILA. HILA will host an open house where you can meet your child’s teacher, bring in school supplies, tour the school, and meet the HILA leadership team. The open house will take place on Friday, August 24th. You will be welcomed into the building from 1:00pm – 3:00pm. If you cannot attend this open house, please feel free to make arrangements to meet with your child’s teacher during the first week of school. Teachers will be available to take you into their classrooms from 3:30pm-4:00pm throughout the first week of school.
School will begin on August 27th. Students must enter the building promptly by 7:45am each day. Students will be dismissed at 3:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Students will be dismissed at 2:50 p.m. on Tuesdays. Please make sure students are dropped off and picked up promptly, so HILA staff members can collaborate and plan with one another.
The parent/student handbook will be posted on the school’s website shortly.
