The American writer, Henry Brooks Adams, once said, “A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.”
I think this sentiment really gets to the heart of our educational mission here at Hope. Every day, our teachers work so diligently to nurture the unique potential of every Hope student and prepare them for a future filled with exciting possibilities.
Today is a very special day: National Teacher Day. It’s a wonderful opportunity to recognize the expertise, creativity and true caring that Hope’s teachers share with their students. The dedication our teachers bring to the classroom each and every day is nothing less than inspiring and their influence on our children is everlasting.
Please join me today in recognizing the outstanding contributions our teachers make, not only to The Hope Institute and its reputation for excellence but, more importantly, to the promising and hopeful futures of our almost 600 students in Springfield and Chicago.
