Important Upcoming Events

October is a busy month, so we wanted to make you aware of all the events that are going on.

  • Thursday, October 11th – 1st grade field trip.
  • Friday, October 12th – HILA picture day.  Students may dress up for picture day.  Jeans are not allowed.
  • Saturday, October 13th – Pearson Success Net Parent Workshop.  Workshop will take place in the new Family Technology Center.  9AM – 11AM.
  • Wednesday, October 17th – Families of HILA Chair and Vice Chair Election Day – 8AM – 6PM (HILA Main Office).  Date changed from the 10th.
  • HILA Book Fair – October 22nd – 29th.
  • Wednesday, October 24th – HILA Board of Directors meeting – 6PM – Sherlock Room.
  • Tuesday, October 30th – 6PM – Families of HILA meeting in the school auditorium.  Date changed from the 31st.

PEARSON SUCCESS NET PARENT WORKSHOP – SATURDAY – October 13th – 9AM

Learn how to help your child access Pearson’s digital curriculum at home.  Review difficult lessons, watch educational videos, complete assignments, and improve reading skills.  We will provide child care during the workshop.  Light refreshments will be provided as well.  If you attend this workshop, your child will receive TWO HILA PRIDE POINTS!
