Satellite Program
The Hope Institute partners with Chicago Public Schools to operate Special Education Satellites that serve the educational needs of children with autism spectrum disorders and other low incidence disabilities. With three current high school special education classrooms at the Chicago Vocational Career Academy, and with plans for additional sites in the future, The Hope Institute is demonstrating how to obtain better outcomes at a lower net cost to CPS.
The Hope Institute Learning Academy Satellite Program is based upon the tenets of the Maximum Benefit Model utilized by The Hope Institute Learning Academy. The Satellite Program increases accessibility to high quality education in a neighborhood school and helps students with autism and low incidence disabilities succeed in attending school with their peers.
